Job Description
We are hiring for SQL Database Engineer for Bangalore location.
SQL DBA with 5-7 years of good experience in production support/operations environment.
• Requires relevant technical work experience of 5 to 7 years as SQL DBA including experience on SQL 2012 till the newest version.
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
• Should have good understanding of life cycle management of software, in general databases.
• Excellent knowledge of database backup recovery, security, integrity and SQL authentication.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills to manage Database performance tuning.
• Good hands-on experience with query store, scripting, high-availability (clustering and AOAG) and Disaster Recovery.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
• Need to have very good understanding of installation, migration and patch management of the databases.
• Need to have project management skills/exposure to handle different aspects of database functionalities and to meet audit requirements.
• Should have experience in Change, Incident and Problem management skills; (ITIL certification is a bonus).
• Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, Negotiation skills, customer interaction, Project management skill, etc
