Job Description:
• Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
• Estimate PostgreSQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
• Develop Stored Procedures and Database Triggers in support of application development.
• Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Understanding of AWS Cloud architectures and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
• Development and design of the database.
• Troubleshoot issues with SQL Server high availability solutions to include Windows Failover Clusters and SQL Server Always On for servers in private cloud and public cloud environments.
