We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team at OculusIT. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our SQL Server environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administering SQL Server, including backup, integration, restore, reporting, and maintenance processes.
• Diagnosing and analyzing issues using third-party diagnostic tools.
• Configuring and managing SQL Server security.
• Collaborating with the team on migrating older versions of SQL Server to new instances, if required.
• Administering and maintaining Azure SQL managed instance.
• Developing reports in Power BI, if required.
• Creating business requirement documents, KPI dimensions matrices, and source-to-target mapping documents.
• Account mining and management.
• Migrating JBoss applications, if required.
• Identifying and resolving issues in our core policy system, if required.
Required Skills and Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL Server.
• Strong technical skills and experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Flexibility, quick learning ability, focus, and attention to detail.
