• Cloud-Based Database Administration
We are seeking an experienced database administrator to manage our cloud-based database infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database management systems, particularly MS SQL Server, Azure, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Administering and maintaining database systems, focusing on MS SQL Server, Azure, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Supporting SQL server in Azure environments, including IAAS, SQL MI, and PaaS services.
• Managing Azure SQL databases, SQL Managed Instances, and Azure VMs within the Azure Portal.
• Monitoring database performance and proactively addressing issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborating with project teams to understand database requirements and providing efficient solutions.
• Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A minimum of 6-12 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on MS SQL Server and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, including MS SQL Server, Azure, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with project teams.
• Certifications and Education
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. A certification in SQL Server or Azure SQL is highly desirable.
