Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 5% + contributory pension.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and preventative maintenance of SQL Server Instances/ Data warehouse estate.
You will work with SQL/Data Warehouse development teams to improve service design, capacity planning and code performance. Performance monitoring, optimisation, identifying bottlenecks, responding to ad hoc alerts, and troubleshooting databases/data warehouse and business critical applications are also key responsibilities.

Requirements
• Demonstrable experience of troubleshooting, optimising and managing SQL server and associated client tools and systems based on SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, and SQL Server 2012 SQL Server 2014 – Enterprise
• Experience of project and 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier support work on SQL Server - 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2014 – Enterprise
• Migration and upgrades of SQL Server Instances - Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012 SQL Server 2014 – Enterprise
