Position: SQL Server Administrator / MSSQL DBA,
Experience: 3+ years.
- Practical Knowledge of Log Shipping setup and configuration is must.
- Experience in Database Administration in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 / 2014 / 2016 / 2026.
- Responsible in Performance Tuning, installation, upgrading, data management and security of the databases, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tool.
- Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, and production usage.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues, CPU utilization, server memory, disk I/O, disk space etc..
- Knowledge of SQL login management, backups, restores, database shrink operations, DBCC commands.
- Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, Exception Handling.)
- Work closely with Developers to improve the performance of queries by tweaking and / or modifying indexes.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Ability to model, analyses and manage large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of Multi-Instance implementations and methodologies.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Experience in implementing operational automation using scripting.
- T-SQL skill is mandatory.
- Technical documentation skills.
- Essential day to day Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Verify all instances are up & working,
- Verify the success of the Database backup,
- Check database space usage on servers,
- Checking if there is enough disk space for the data files to grow,
- Monitoring overall Database health & performance,
- Escalating issues and providing feedback and suggestions,
- Work on assigned.

Salary: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
