Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to manage our financial accounts and operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GST filing, proficiency in Tally software, and a strong background in financial management and accounting. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management:
• Oversee and manage the full spectrum of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• GST Compliance:
• Handle all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including filing of returns, reconciliation, and ensuring timely payments.
• Stay updated with changes in GST laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with the latest statutory requirements.
• Tally Software Management:
• Maintain and manage accounting records using Tally software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and analyze financial reports from Tally, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Financial Analysis:
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
• Audit and Compliance:
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on GST compliance and Tally software.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
• Proficiency in Tally software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in handling audits and financial reconciliations.
• Knowledge of other accounting software and ERP systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
