Responsibilities: 1. Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. 2. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 3. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely completion of audits and tax filings. 4. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decision-making. 5. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance. 6. Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and professionalism. 7. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and operations, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. 8. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by senior management. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 2. Proven experience (5-6 years) working in accounting or finance roles with a export house. 3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and accounting standards. 4. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound recommendations. 6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 7. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 8. Ability to adapt to change and embrace new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. +.
