**Real Estate firm seeking a Sr. Accountant for growing team**We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the commercial real estate development and management industry. The role is based in Marina Del Rey, California, and involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be expected to process and maintain accurate customer credit records, among other responsibilities. Please email resume to Eric Herndon Responsibilities:• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department• Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications• Prepare and reconcile financial statements• Handle Accounts Payable/Receivable and General Ledger• Conduct audits, bank account reconciliation, and credit card reconciliation• Oversee building CAM Processing• Prepare tax returns for external CPA• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries• Use Microsoft Excel, or MRI, Yardi for various accounting tasks• Implement internal controls and ensure their effectiveness• Communicate effectively with financial institutions, tenants, and vendors.
