Job Description
Rayden Interactive is in search of a Sr. Accountant to be an integral part of our team.
The ideal candidate will serve as Sr. Accountant to support the finance and accounting operations and meet the demands of its growing business. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position requires a highly motivated individual that has strong accounting and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the monthly close process, including financial analysis and recording journal entries
• Assist in the evaluation of prepaid and accrued expenses
• Participate in daily departmental meeting and manage monthly checklists
• Work collaboratively with multiple departments
• Assist in the preparation of monthly OPEX analyses and internal financial packages
• Work with outside accountants during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Perform Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Recording of Non AR Transactions.
• AR/AP to GL reconciliation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• At least 6+ years of accounting experience, including recording journal entries, and preparing reconciliations
• Ability to recognize potential issues and problems, know when to escalate and propose solutions, where possible.
• Strong analytic and quantitative ability
• Organized, disciplined, process-oriented
• Familiarity and comfort dealing with journal entries
• An excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization in a remote setting
• Has a very strong work ethic and is willing and able to roll up his/her sleeves and pinch hit to get the job done
• The absolute highest level of personal and professional integrity is required
• Knowledge of excel and capable of creating spreadsheets analyzing
