Sr Accountant - 17515
Description
The Senior Accountant will assist the AAR Parts Trading accounting team with the month-end close process, account reconciliations, audit requests, supporting business activities and ad hoc requests while adhering to GAAP requirements, SOX controls and internal policies.
What you will be responsible for:
Responsible for daily accounting operations including journal entries, reporting, audit requests and month end close support.
Responsible for Account Analysis/Reconciliations.
Prepare and report daily sales and inventory balances for Parts Trading.
Prepare AAR FRPs.
Prepare foreign representative commissions payments.
Miscellaneous projects as assigned or directed.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What you will need to be successful in this role:
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 - 4 years of previous experience in a corporate accounting environment.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. [In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.] AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
