Represents or supports the reputation of the company to minimize compliance and regulatory risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to company and legal standards. USA Job Function Description: Ensures adherence to the policies and procedures established by the company. Manages policy, standard definition and monitoring of policy, standard implementation, ensuring harmonization and consistency of risk policies. Monitors and manages risk/exposure and compliance with the company's policies. Identifies, manages and reports on the company's risk areas. Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of data, document retention, and monitors systems.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements

Leads Fraud related projects ensuring clear business and technical requirements are documented, comprehensive end-to-end testing plans developed and managed, and implementation is fully coordinated.

Partners with operational risk group to assess Fraud controls and impacts relative to organizational initiatives including new products, channels and processes.

Builds data models to support business unit analytics and performance management

Determines and recommends business unit performance enhancements and efficiencies based on developed analytical models.

Develops and maintain peer benchmarking model.

Presents complicated and/or sensitive issues, as well as industry fraud trends, to senior level management in a concise written or verbal format.

Prepares and presents anti-fraud training to business unit partners and peers.

Assists the business unit in determining timeframe and resources to accomplish implementation of control enhancement and direct the business unit through full implementation.

Escalates issues potentially affecting reputation risk to Management, Legal, and Corporate Communications.

Understands and complies with all applicable federal regs including, but not limited to, BSA, FCRA, Truth in Lending, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, RESPA, GLB &. FACTA.

Have strong data analytics experience with the ability to translate information into actions.

Possess knowledge of analytics with large data sets and ability to build reporting.

Extensive knowledge of MS Excel required; experience with R, Python, SQL or SAS a plus.

Strong risk management principles, methodologies and tools, governance principles and activity preferably in a financial services technology environment.

Knowledge of workflow/processes and risks/controls, including: origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections/workout.

Ability to direct, train and guide peers, subordinates and management.

Ability to handle conflict resolution with other groups to ensure appropriate accounting guidance is followed.

Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.
