Job Description
Exp: 6-10 years; Proven working experience as a Database Administrator. Experience in Writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc. Designing and coding database tables to store the applications data. Review, query performance and optimizing code. Writing, analytical functions, temporary tables, indexes, views, curser. Work on simple and complex queries according to client need. Experience in installations, configuration, and up-gradations. Import/export of tables, user schemas, logical backup. Repair and maintenance database tables and crash recovery. P a g e | 6 Installation, up-gradation, migration, applying patches, cloning, troubleshooting, SQL loader, SQL replications. Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data. Building database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end users specialized role. Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end users information needs and views. Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner. Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required. Follow industry best practices
