Your Roles & Responsibilities
• This role reports into the Digital Lead and will work closely with brand head, brand managers and other resources to drive efficiencies in the Digital space.
• Be accountable for successful delivery of brands’ vision through Digital Marketing programs via appropriate services and other partners.
• Design monthly, quarterly and yearly, end-to-end Search, content & mobile marketing thinking / approach for your respective brands, and ensure the right implementation of the agreed approach. Deep understanding of digital media landscape (planning and buying) and how it’s evolving, and how to implement it for brands. Have good control on numbers.
• Design and manage yearly AOP strategy and its implementation and ensure proper delivery of the same through various ways.
• Engage in planning and delivery for digital program elements classified as innovation; including but not limited to the brand’s websites including Direct To Consumer channel, video, search related marketing (SEO/SEM and more), social media (across platforms), Advocacy & influencer marketing, content marketing and its management across various platforms, mobile marketing and online analytics. Manage and run day-to-day agency relationship and bridging gap between brand teams and the agency.
• Develop a strong understanding of analytics and data related to digital marketing and how to effectively leverage them to drive digital program effectiveness.
• Liaison with technical and service delivery partners and also the creative agencies involved in creating the digital campaigns. Managing the current set of partners (agency, tech and creative, media partners) and identifying & bringing in new partners in the ecosystem, who can add value to GCPL ecosystem.
Position Requirements Qualification & Experience:
• Diploma or Post Graduation in Marketing/ Digital Marketing / Digital Media Studies from a premier institute or Graduation
• Candidate should have 3 - 4 years of experience in Digital Marketing, with overall 5 yrs. of experience
Skills Required:
• The role requires an innovator, a progressive thinker who can connect digital space to brand marketing business. We are looking for a person who believes that in todays day and age, marketing is all about “marketing in digital space”
• Adept at creative thinking and problem solving and managing flexibility in a constantly changing digital marketing environment
• Hands-on experience with as wide an array as possible of Data driven marketing, use of analytics for actionable insights, mobile first or in some cases mobile only approach, search marketing digital/social media communication methods.
• Understands industry/market best practices and strives to incorporate them seamlessly. Hands on work on CPG/FMCG and/or tech companies would be an added advantage.
• Digital media skills such as the ability to think innovative ideas, make meaningful media plans, will be looked at favorably. We would ideally like people who are digital creators themselves, not just consumers.
• Strong verbal and written communication and digital natives with high on digital consumption and swift on social platforms.
