Job Description
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, to ensure efficient and accurate handling of inventory.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, provide training and guidance, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts, stock checks, and audits to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries, preparing shipping documents, and coordinating with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Monitor warehouse space utilization and optimize layout and storage methods to maximize efficiency and minimize handling costs.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data, perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods, and address any quality issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on inventory status, order fulfilment, and shipment tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to support business objectives and address customer needs effectively
