Senior Financial Reporting.
The position is responsible for the preparation of key activities and reconciliations supporting the monthly close, financial reporting process, general ledger account analysis reports
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare transactional journal entries, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, dispositions, and notes receivable.
• Perform accounting functions related to joint ventures including, but not limited to, the preparation of monthly joint venture distributions and income allocations.
• Collaborate with accounting and other teams to set target dates and processes to prepare the information needed for SEC filings and other publicly presented information.
• Prepare 10Q/K disclosures and other quarterly reporting schedules, including tie-out support.
• Prepare quarterly account flux analyses.
• Prepare disclosure checklists.
• Support the Assistant Controller, Controller and Director of Financial Reporting with ad hoc analyses and projects.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by preparing audit requests.
• Maintain accounting and reporting systems including identifying and implementing process and reporting enhancements.
• Cross training on general close and AP functions.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• CPA license preferred
• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years public accounting and/or public company financial reporting experience
• Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; including research skills regarding current and prospective updates to regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a team
