Key Responsibilities1. Payroll ProcessingPrepare and process monthly payroll for all employees within defined timelines.Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.Update payroll records with new hires, exits, transfers, promotions, and salary revisions.2. Statutory ComplianceEnsure accurate and timely compliance with statutory requirements such as:Provident Fund (PF)Employee State Insurance (ESI)Professional Tax (PT)Income Tax (TDS)Gratuity, LWF, and other applicable labor lawsCoordinate with government portals for filings and submissions.3. Data ManagementMaintain payroll data, employee master records, attendance data, and leave records.Reconcile payroll records with HR and Finance systems monthly.4. ReportingPrepare monthly payroll reports, variance analysis, and financial summaries.Support internal and external audits with necessary payroll documents.Generate employee-specific reports such as Form 16, pay slips, tax summaries, etc.5. Employee SupportAddress and resolve employee payroll-related queries.Provide clarity on salary structure, deductions, tax calculations, and reimbursements.6. Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with HR for timely data input.Coordinate with Finance for payroll disbursement and expense booking.Liaise with external vendors for payroll software and statutory filings if required.
