Job Description
As the Senior HR Generalist, you will be the heartbeat of our manufacturing facility. You aren't just "back office" you are on the floor, understanding the pulse of the workforce and ensuring our plant runs like a well-oiled machine. You will lead the end to end employee lifecycle, from the first "hello" at onboarding to ensuring every paycheck is perfect and every regulation is met.
We’re looking for a grounded, proactive leader who can balance the human side of HR with the technical rigors of compliance and payroll.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage high-volume hiring for both skilled labor and administrative staff.
• The "Cypress Welcome": Design and execute a seamless onboarding experience that gets new hires safety-certified and culturally integrated from Day 1.
• Employer Branding: Represent Cypress at local job fairs and trade schools to build a steady talent pipeline.
2. Payroll & Compensation
• Precision Payroll: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, overtime calculations, and shift differentials.
• Benefits Admin: Manage enrollments, claims, and inquiries regarding health insurance, 401(k), and leave policies.
• HRIS Management: Maintain meticulous digital records of employee data and compensation history.
3. Compliance & Labor Relations
• Regulatory Watchdog: Ensure 100% compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and local labor laws.
• Safety Partnership: Work closely with the Safety/EHS manager to maintain OSHA logs and handle workers' compensation claims.
• Conflict Resolution: Act as a fair mediator for employee grievances, conducting investigations when necessary with total confidentiality.
4. Employee Engagement & Performance
• Culture Building: Implement engagement initiatives (town halls, recognition programs) to keep morale high in a high-pressure plant environment.
• Performance Management: Guide supervisors through the annual review process and provide coaching on PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans).
Pay: ₹18,443.87 - ₹54,252.81 per month
