Job Description
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
Oversee the entire recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Conduct orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and ensure they align with organizational goals.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans and career development.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
Compliance and Legal:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legislative changes.
Handle employee-related legal issues, such as employment contracts, labor disputes, and workplace investigations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Manage and administer employee compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct salary surveys and job evaluations to ensure competitive and equitable compensation.
Oversee benefits enrollment, administration, and communication.
HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Ensure that policies are consistently applied and comply with legal requirements.
Review and update the employee handbook as needed.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports on HR activities and outcomes to senior management.
Use data to inform HR strategies and decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is an advantage.
Minimum of 5-7 years of HR management experience.
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
