A large financial services company is looking to hire 1 Sr. Java Developer either in Bengaluru, India or Gurgaon, India within the Finance Automation space. In this role you will be gathering analysis from the product owner teams and then designing, developing, and coding. This person will be on a team of 8 people, but this is primarily an individual contributor role that has a HEAVY focus on Java 8 and 11 and will be mostly backend Java and React and will also need a basic understanding of SQL. Several years of hands on Java experience is required for this role and you must consider yourself expert level to apply.

Must haves:

- 8+ years experience backend Java (Java8)

- 3+ years experience with SQL

- REST or API experience

- Previous experience within designing, developing, supporting, and research investigation
