Our direct client is looking to fill Sr. Lead Platform Architect role
This is a Hybrid opportunity in Chicago or Dallas that requires 3 days a week to work on site

Primary Responsibilities
Sr. Lead Platform Architect will be responsible for:
• Leading Architecture design and decision making or core platform capabilities including: container orchestration, streaming infrastructure, cloud architecture, CI/CD and GitOps pipelines and observabilities
• Ensure transition to new platform is efficient and clearly defined
• Must be proficient and own architectures for Kubernetes-based workloads, Kafka streaming topologies, Flink stream processing, and AWS infrastructure patterns
• Architect and guide migration of workloads to cloud-native patterns on AWS
Technical Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or system architecture
Proficiency and Hands on experience with:
• Kubernetes - workload design, networking, security, cluster architecture
• Apache Kafka for deployment, Apache Flink or similar stream processing
• AWS Architecture – VPCs, EC2, EKS, MSK, S3, IAM, KMS
• Implementation of GitOps pipeline – IaC, secret management promotions, and release automation with the help of Flux, ArgoCD, Terraform, or Helm
