Sr. Litigation Paralegal
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with litigation processes, managing case files, and facilitating legal research to ensure successful case outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible
• Coordinate e-filing of legal documents with various courts and agencies
• Interface with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information
• Maintain case calendars and deadlines, ensuring timely responses and filings
• Assist in trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and witness lists
Qualifications
• Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes
• Proficiency in e-filing systems and legal research tools
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
