This position is responsible for managing sales and support staff in specialty markets to meet/exceed sales goals. Manage new sales, account management, implementation, and servicing of specialty markets customers. Will also be responsible for personal books of business. Accountable for maintaining productive relationships with internal sales teams, producers and consulting houses, the BCBS association, and other blue plans to contribute toward the development and attainment of membership. Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays, as needed.
Required Job Qualifications
• 8 years of sales experience or health management experience including 4 years of experience in sales/account management of health insurance products.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Valid, current state health insurance license.
• Knowledge of health care products and ancillary products (Life, Dental, Prescription Drugs).
• Knowledge, experience and skill
