The Opportunity
OpenText has experienced some significant recent growth and has recently announced plans to further continue the expansion of our employee base. In your capacity as a Manager / Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition you will be expected to manage the talent acquisition strategy and talent service delivery for the India Customer Solutions, Sales/Marketing, General & Administrative group. As a Regional Lead and a member of the APJ Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, you will be expected to develop the regional sourcing strategy and promote OpenText as the best place to work.

Provide strategic program management to help elevate our talent acquisition strategy and manage service delivery for the varies business groups in India.
Foster and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the Talent Acquisition team, HR Business Partners and key stakeholders to support the accomplishment of recruiting goals.
Proactively coach a high-performing team on optimising processes and talent acquisition tools, systems, and resources to drive the best talent outcomes.
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by participating in the process to monitor the workforce capacity and assess emerging workforce changes; e.g., skills, talent mix, etc.
Partner with our Recruitment Excellence and Talent Brand team to develop a compelling Employee Value Proposition.
Take an active leadership role in the Global Talent Acquisition function and lead Regional and Global projects.
Use data to provide analysis and insight on performance and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
Managing change and optimizing processes and talent acquisition tools, systems, and resources to drive best talent outcomes.
Evangelizing and demonstrating knowledge of best practices including sourcing, talent brand strategies, using tools and technologies and social media.
Using your business acumen to comprehend business needs and how those needs fit into the corporate/business structure.
Designing and implementing a range of sourcing channels and platforms, monitoring continuous effectiveness and ROI.
Being data-driven in working with business leaders and key stakeholders, on both day to day status updates, as well as in strategic planning activities and operationalising key recruitment metrics to align with business and talent acquisition objectives.
Leading, coaching and mentoring a seasoned and geographically dispersed team to maximise their full potential.
What it takes
10+ years of experience leading a talent acquisition function with proven experience optimising hiring processes and efficiencies. Exposure to leading Professional service, Customer Support, Sales, Finance etc functions is highly preferable.
A programmatic and structured approach with a proven ability to deliver change.
Exposure to strategizing/ managing campus recruitment.
Deep expertise in understanding local talent markets and translating this insight into appropriate and effective inbound and outbound talent sourcing strategies and methods.
Skilful communication, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
Delivering and being productive in a team environment with a high sense of urgency and commitment.
Analysing talent data and metrics, and preparing great data-driven updates to your customers
A hands-on attitude with the ability to both define a strategy and execute on it.
A passion for finding, assessing and recruiting the best talent, and inspiring a team to do the same.
