Position Brief:
The Senior Product Development Engineer (PHP) will be responsible for writing server-side
application logic in PHP, designing scalable and robust software systems, and integrating
applications into larger architectures. The role will drive the development of customizations and
product features with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and security. The role is responsible for
mentoring junior developers, ensuring secure code practices, and working with a variety of
software tools and databases to deliver performance-oriented applications for the travel and
airport industry.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:
The Primary role of the candidate will be:
• Proficient in writing server-side logic in PHP and other PHP-based environments.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable applications.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate software applications across multiple platforms.
• Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to the enhancement of development
processes.
• Mentor junior developers and guide them in problem-solving and technical issues.
• Design and integrate APIs and web services, with hands-on experience in SOAP, REST, and
microservices.
• Ensure the security of applications by following best practices and conducting vulnerability
testing.
• Work on performance-oriented codes, specifically for production environments in the airport
and travel industry.
• Create and maintain documentation for developed systems and solutions.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, following methodologies and practices.

Working Experience and Qualification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in product development, PHP-based
environments, and API integration.
Skills:
• Proficiency in PHP 8.2 & Above, Laravel, CodeIgniter, GIT, Postman, JIRA.
• Strong experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, NodeJS,
Bootstrap).
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL).
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks, SQL, and Linux.
• Familiarity with security protocols like OAuth2, SAML, and LDAP.
• Experience in automated build platforms, CI/CD, and agile development environments.

Services portfolio and Services Business. We are building digital and transformation
capabilities to complement the IT Managed service to create value for our customers.
The current leadership of the company has both domestic and global experience in
building and running high performance Digital First, Service organizations and over 20+
years in the ITES sector.
As we embark on taking WAISL to the next level and we focus on - larger revenue, a larger
customer base (Growth Engine), enhanced portfolio (Managed Services, New Digital
Services/Products, Airport Services Platform etc.) and building a strong Digital Team
backed by a strong Engineering DNA of the Organization (People, System Engineering).
Current revenues are at approx. US $50 million, largely secured by long-term contracts.
Vision is to scale it up to $500 Mn in the next 5 years with a client portfolio of both
domestic and global airports and related adjacencies.
