Purpose of the Position:
Responsible to perform various analytical activities and develop solution for basic technical problems.
Responsibilities:
(1) To conduct analysis such as GC, HPLC, Wet Chemistry, GC-MS, LC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, DSC, Particle Size Analyzer, Viscosity, Density etc.
(2) To maintain Analytical Lab note books, procedures, documents and records
(3) To maintain laboratory and work place as per norms
(4) To maintain ISO 17025 and ISO +001 management systems
(5) To work safely and maintain housekeeping of the lab
(6) To work in shifts as per requirement of the job
(7) Implement SOP for the storage of analytical standards and reference samples at Thane under required conditions and maintain a database
Required Skills:
Education: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry
3-7 yrs experience in Analytical Chemistry in R&D, preferably in Agrochemical Industry

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
• Strategic Planning and Analysis – Ability to initiate and work on multiple projects. Must have foresight and take the initiative to plan out, manage and accomplish necessary tasks.
• Technical Skills – Attention to detail and ability to consistently and accurately manage multi tasks is required. Comfortable working with laboratory chemicals and reagents. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
• Interpersonal Skills – Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Fluent in English.
• Teamwork – Good communicator and team player with a positive attitude and excellent people management skills. Ability to work in a team setting.
• Judgment - Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Accountable for decisions made within the scope of responsibility, with the focus on meeting established short term and long-term goals and objectives.
• Professionalism – Highly self-motivated individual, possessing strong organizational skills. Results oriented. Deadline focused and motivated.
