Job Description
Sr. Software Engineer/Team Lead (Billing)
This position reports into the Sr. Tech Lead at Airlinq and would be responsible for development of Billing Engine, guiding to team for telecom billing & rating process. He role involves (not limited to) -
• Identify the required domain details, protocol details by doing study & research before starting software design.
• Decide on appropriate scalable efficient technologies, data structures to implement the design.
• Develop domain and detailed platform codebase understanding.
• Forward development and sustenance of existing platform components.
• Work with Product Management team w.r.t. high level requirements from the platform.
• Understanding of Telecom BSS/Billing technology, including interpretation of specifications to provide:
o Develop and Enhance platform components
o Guidance to product teams w.r.t. certain aspects of telecom billing.
o Guidance to deployment and support engineers.
• Team members should own entire applications working independently as well as jointly work with others on other applications.
• A Individual Contributor who can take the ownership of work
Skills & Experience requirements:
• Core Java (Mandatory)
• Spring/Spring Boot (Mandatory)
• Hibernate (Mandatory)
• Unix/Linux (Mandatory)
• Junit and Mockito
• Git or any other code version control (Mandatory)
• Sql/Oracle/Mysql/Pl SQL (Mandatory)
• MUST HAVE worked in Telecom BSS/Billing domain
• High availability/scalability concepts – (Mandatory)
• Technical Solution design
• Must have worked on telecom rating Engine, Product catalogue
• LLD design
• Strong team leadership skills are a must.
• People management skills needed.
Work Experience:
• 4 to 8 years of relevant software development experience.
Minimum Education:
• B.E. / B.Tech. , M.E. /M. Tech in Computer Science/ I.T / Electronics Engineering / MCA.
