Sr Software Engineer- Mern Stack/Node

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in MERN stack development and proven expertise in Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in project management, sprint planning, and design thinking, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Apply Scrum practices and ensure smooth sprint execution and delivery.

Contribute to system design and architecture while applying design thinking principles.

Manage projects using tools like JIRA and ensure timely delivery against milestones.

Work with Postman, Putty, and other developer tools for testing, debugging, and deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with AWS and MySQL databases.

Ensure high code quality, performance, and scalability.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in full-stack development with MERN stack.

Strong understanding of Agile software development, Scrum framework, and sprint planning.

Experience in project management with JIRA or similar tools.

Hands-on experience with React, MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.

Proficiency in working with AWS cloud services.

Knowledge of MySQL and database design concepts.

Familiarity with Postman, Putty, and debugging tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and application of design thinking approaches.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

Experience leading teams or managing client communication.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
