Responsibilities
• Design test strategy for new and existing features and requirements
• Work with Systems, Integration, and Automation Engineers to decompose requirements to appropriate testing levels, defining sign off criteria and regression strategy with focus on minimizing manual testing
• Write test cases that are able to be automated
• Leverage requirements management tools to ensure proper traceability between requirements and test
• Work with test operations team to produce test reports
• Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position
Qualifications
• B.S.+ in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong working knowledge of automotive electrical systems and communications protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and relevant debug tools
• Hands-on experience debugging complex systems that involve multiple ECUs with interfaces to various vehicle sub-systems
• Experience in designing, implementing, and validating test scripts using Python
• Flexibility to travel domestically/internationally (up to 25%)
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $135,100 - $168,+00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
