Responsibilities:
Design tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
Collaborate with production and quality teams for design feasibility.
Lead and guide junior engineers and toolmakers.
Review and optimize designs for cost, quality, and performance.
Resolve tooling issues and support shop floor implementation.
Skills Required:
Strong CAD skills and understanding of machining processes.
Knowledge of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
Problem-solving ability and team coordination.
Experience in mold/die design preferred.
Qualification:
Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering

5-8 years
