Summary
The Senior professional accountant will provide support for the Controllership division and has a significant role in the month-end close process. This position will support many aspects of the accounting function and requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Your role in our mission
Journal entry preparation with supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
Manage month end close.
Research variances in the GL and prepare explanations for the General Ledger Manager.
Ensure compliance with established SOX processes.
Other special projects as needed.
Problem-solving where the development of new solutions, methods, systems will result in a major impact on the company’s success.
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency Implement recommendations and see projects through to completion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working under the pressure of deadlines.
Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately and logically; to organize facts and figures; apply basic arithmetic.
Conduct meetings to negotiate, explain, persuade, or present information individually and with a team.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or CA or CMA or ICWA Semi Qualified.
+-13 years of Accounts and finance experience in an IT environment.
Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
Experience in General Ledger.
Experience in SAP module.
Preference to candidates with:
Healthcare domain (Medicaid or Medicare).
Ability to start at short notice.
