Job Description
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
Assist in the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
Perform general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
Conduct account reconciliations and financial analysis to support client reporting.
Assist in audits, including gathering documentation, preparing workpapers, and conducting fieldwork.
Communicate directly with clients to address accounting and tax-related inquiries.
Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws to ensure compliance.
Support senior accountants and partners with special projects and advisory services.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Certifications: CPA eligibility preferred (actively pursuing CPA is a plus).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters, CCH, etc.).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
