Staff Accountant
Coconut Creek, FL
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (ON-SITE ONLY)

In this role, you will:
Detail job costs analysis for current projects.
Prepare and verify the entering of journal entries into the general ledger.
Credit card reconciliation; collect receipts, review, code and post journal entries.
Perform all tasks associated with the general ledger, i.e. enter monthly journal entries, execute monthly closing entries, execute month end general ledger.
Coordinate monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting.
Reconciles escrow accounts to monthly statements.
Prepare closing summaries for title companies.
Assist with annual external audits.
Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by supervisor.
We would like you to have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience: At least 3 years of experience preferably within the building industry.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures on manual and automated systems.
Proficient Excel.
Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook
Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
Problem Solving
Organizational Skills
Attention to detail
