Job Description
· Prepare financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and SEC guidance
· Ensure public company clients’ compliance with public filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, 20-F and F-1
· Assess/prepare clients’ internal controls and related policies and procedures and perform audits of internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with Act of 2002
· Identify, research and resolve audit and accounting issues to ensure proper financial statement disclosures in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and SEC guidance
· Pre-audit private companies for IPO/SPAC merger readiness and develop/prepare working paper for clients' external auditors
· Bookkeeping for Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs)
· Perform financial due diligence services on behalf of clients' potential acquisition
· Bilingual (Read and Write) in English and Chinese (required)
· Able to travel internationally (approximately 10-20% per year in total duration)
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers, journal entries, and attention to detail.
SEC Reporting Experience (preferred but not required)
