Job Summary:
The Corporate Accountant supports daily company and accounting tasks.
Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities
Daily reconciliation of all client payment operating accounts
Work with Relationship Managers to ensure that the daily ACH / card transactions/client funding is completed accurately, timely and in accordance to the company’s policies when issues arise
Execute deletes, reversals, bank changes and other ACH related transactions for clients quickly and accurately
Creation of custom reports, data output and financial metrics as requested
Review and process client return of funds
Understand and complete the daily ACH chargeback and NOC notifications
Assist with client funding and payment inquiries and ensuring SLAs are met
Assist with monthly rebate processing
Maintain a working knowledge of all electronic payment products and services sold by the company and understand the company’s defined processes as it relates to these products
Manage month-end/quarter-end closing entries.
Monitor accounts payable or receivables, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Enter AP invoices into accounting system.
Run AP payment process
Enter and submit AR invoices to clients/customers.
Apply payments of invoices to cash.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suites and CRM software I.e. Salesforce.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
A minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting experience
Proven experience in the FinTech industry, particularly in credit card and commercial/B2B payment solutions, with a solid understanding of foreign exchange.
Knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain
