Job Description
Do you have experience in accounts payable, cash management or payroll? Or are you a recent college graduate looking for an entry level accounting position? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to join the accounting team of a well-established company. Responsibilities will include:
· Accounts Payable - process accounts payable, including invoices, check runs, contacting vendors, resolving issues.
· Account for all cash collections and deposits in accordance with hotel’s policy and procedures. Prepare supporting reports in Excel.
· Manage and perform all aspects of the payroll process for weekly payroll utilizing ADP payroll system.
· Assist in the preparation of month end journal entries.
· Support the hotel general manager and department supervisors.
· Other duties, tasks and projects as required.
This Position Requires
· A Degree in Accounting. Please include your GPA in your application or resume.
· Strong oral and written communication, analytical and organizational skills.
· An energetic, proactive, self-motivated individual able to work with limited supervision.
· Must be a team player, who enjoys working in a hands on, detailed oriented role and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. ADP and SAGE Accounting experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
