Globetrotters is seeking a STAFF Accountant to serve as a key contributor on our accounting team. This is an on-site position.
In this role, you will:
Support accounting functions including general ledger, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, A/P, A/R, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
Track and analyze project budgets. Prepare project budget forecasts and report variances
Help prepare financial statements and reports
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Support outside auditors
Other duties, as assigned
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2 or more years of accounting experience
Working knowledge of GAAP financial and accounting principles and internal control procedures.
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot charts), and other MS Office products
Deltek Vision preferred
Experience in A/E or professional services is preferred
