Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Financial Reporting Department. This role focuses on Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reporting, with key responsibilities including:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and adjusting entries.
Conduct account analysis and account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Accrue expenses and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with company standards and timelines.
Research, analyze, and interpret financial data to respond to accounting and financial inquiries.
Support outside accountants with year-end accounting, tax filings, and cost report preparation.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Previous experience in Long-Term Care is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
