LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a client in Los Angeles, CA to hire a Staff Accountant. This position is contract to hire, paying $32-36/hour, based on experience. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
Responsibilities:
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
· Conduct periodic audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
· Provide support during the annual audit process.
· Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
· Must have strong manufacturing accounting experience.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in using ERP accounting software.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
