Primary responsibilities will include: • Providing management with financial information by researching andanalyzingaccounts; preparing financial statements • Performing mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, verifying accuracy of data, and reporting, identifying, and correcting errors made by both internal and external personnel • Posting transactions and categorizing records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses) • Preparing general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts • Supporting timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts • Assisting in providing schedules and commentary with respects to operating maintenance accounts results and variances, and with the production of working capital, cash-flow reports, as well as applicable commentary • Maintaining and updating records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets • Preparing special financial reports as requested by management by collecting,analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends • Developing and implementing accounting procedures byanalyzingcurrent procedures; recommending changes • Maintaining and updating accounting records and files • Analyzingbudgets and creating expense reports • Analyzing transactions with internal and external stakeholders • Conducting month-end and year-end closures • Preparing documents for audits • Applying new accounting policies and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations • Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working to improve financial processes • Protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential • Periodic reporting - MBRs, EMRs, daily/weekly reporting and other ad hoc reporting as required • Performing variance analysis along with preparation of management presentations describing insights The Candidate: Required skills/qualifications: • Bachelor's degree inCommerce(Grades not less than60%)with knowledge ofIFRS, US GAAP, Accounting • 6-8 years of professional experience with 4-5 years of core accounting experience • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Financial Software applications • Strongreporting skills, deadline-oriented, excellent time management skills, ability to pay strongattention to detail and beproductive • Excellent oralcommunication skills • General math skills Preferred skills/qualifications: • Experience in MS D365 The Office: We have an office in the Silicon Valley of India: Bangalore. ·Located adjacent to Bangalore's new metro system ·Brand new office space boasts an open, modern vibe ·Office space provides collaboration area for casual gatherings as well as office cabins for privacy when needed ·Office has a tuck shop for quick snacks, free coffee, and vending machines ·Habba committee and monthly employee engagement activities provide opportunities for fun and celebration at work This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
