Strong attention to detail
At least one year of experience in accounting or auditing

Self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities
Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and pivot tables) is required
Good technical accounting skills (US GAAP)

Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports for multiple companies
Reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts
Prepare of standard and non standard journal entries during month-end close
Compile the weekly cash flow analysis and forecast
Prepare sales tax analysis
Assist in the preparation of governmental forms
Participate in the yearly audit
Participate in the monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
Doccument accounting procedures, processes, and internal controls
Support process automation/improvements, re-engineering projects, and system implementations/upgrades
Assist with compiling internal and external reports
Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
