The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping activities. The ideal candidate will be adept in Quickbooks Online, demonstrated experience in handling bookkeeping for multiple entities, detailed oriented, self-starter, strong ethical standards, and excellent business acumen.
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple of entities including but not limited to: bill entry, bill payment, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate coding and timely processing of vendor bills and payments, customer invoices, and monthly journal entries.
• Perform monthly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Understanding of inter company accounting and related transactions.
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis for management.
• Provide external accountants documents and reports to support state and federal tax return preparation.
• File Hawaii G45 and G4+ returns and annual Federal 10++s
• Enhance and maintain the financial procedures and systems used in the organization, including QuickBooks Online.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associates Degree or higher in Accounting/Business – preferred.
• 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience – required.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and MacOS Microsoft Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint - required.
The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $55k-$75k annual salary.
