Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing accounting and full-cycle accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close. This is not a transactional AP/AR role—this position focuses on general ledger ownership, reconciliations, and financial accuracy across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting & General Ledger
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, allocations)
• Assist in and/or own key components of the monthly and year-end close process
• Apply vendor and customer payments and reconcile related accounts
• Review and reconcile UPS/FedEx shipping rate reports
• Review and verify employee timecards
• Perform monthly expense allocations for e-commerce operations
• Provide general accounting and operational support as needed
Accounts Payable (AP)
• Review, code, and post vendor invoices
• Prepare and process check payments
• Reconcile credit card accounts
• Set up and maintain vendor records
• Process credit card payments
• Support AP processes as part of broader accounting responsibilities
Sales & Commissions
• Calculate agent and representative incentive programs via excel and ERP system
• Process inside sales commissions
Qualifications Required
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close, in a manufacturing environment (Required)
• 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP principles
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Bell, CA
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting
Preferred
• Demonstrated job stability with long-term tenure in prior roles
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
• Hands-on experience with freight, landed cost, and logistics reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Bilingual in Spanish (Plus)
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1st shift, onsite)
Compensation
$70,000+ DOE (depending on experience and qualifications)
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
