Minsky & Grabina CPA's, PLLC is a professional firm in Mineola, New York with a goal of hiring a young professional with tax preparation and accounting experience.

- Prepare journal entries of transactions to create financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconcile accounts to verify accuracy of reported transactions
- Review sales, reimbursement, bank records and other relevant documents
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Prpeare individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary and foundation tax returns
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and payroll tax returns and tax projections
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks) and MS Excel
- Experience with accrual accounting and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and account analysis techniques
- Ability to work Saturdays during tax season
