LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Staff Accountant in Rancho Cucamonga. This position is contract to hire, paying $27-35/hour, based on experience. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, comes from real estate accounting industry, must have strong excel skills - pivot tables/vlookup.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with year-end audits
· Book property accruals
· Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
· Conduct periodic audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
· Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· 1+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
· Real Estate Accounting experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Must have strong familiarity with excel - pivot tables and vlookups
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
