We are excited to welcome a Staff Accountant to drive the continued success of Unilux HVAC Industries Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and the month-end close process ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
Assist with the processing of accounts payable and reconciling vendor statements on a monthly basis
Help with the collection of accounts receivable
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with the tracking of inventory costs and cost of goods sold
Help with the preparation of financial reports and documentation for the annual audit
Assist with the preparation of weekly reporting
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
CPA, or completion of CPA PEP
2+ years of accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (skill assessment is part of the interview process)
Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met
Considered an Asset:
Experience at a manufacturing company
Experience using ECI M1 software
The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
