Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Active Pharmacist License in Ohio
Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy
2+ years of pharmacist experience
Ability to work flexible shift times
Proficiency in English, verbal and written
Proficiency in Windows based computer systems
This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs
This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N+5, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
Physical exertion required
Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs

Drive quality efforts by adhering to standard operating procedures
Follow all state and pharmacy regulations and rules as designated by the Ohio State of Pharmacy and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment as mandated by the FDA’s rules and regulations
Provide a world class pharmacy experience for every one of our patients
Perform pharmacist duties such as drug utilization reviews, patient counseling, and dispensing activities
Dispense medications and ensure accurate interpretation, labeling and product selection of prescriptions

Supervise the work results of support personnel

About The Role
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing outstanding pharmacy service to our patients and partner organizations. You will report to the Pharmacist-in-Charge/Pharmacy Manager.
