As a Solutions Architect, you will be a key technical leader and trusted advisor for our startup customers, helping them architect, design, and build scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions on the AWS platform. You'll collaborate closely with customers technical and business leadership, understanding their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges to craft optimal cloud-based solutions that drive innovation and accelerate time-to-market for their products. Key job responsibilities Work closely with startup customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and growth plans, and then architect AWS-based solutions that align with their goals. Lead technical discussions, present best practices, and guide startups on AWS architecture, services, and solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Support to provide comprehensive solutions to startups, addressing their specific needs and driving successful outcomes. Design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference architectures to showcase the value of AWS services and demonstrate their potential impact on the customer's business. Stay up-to-date with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, share this knowledge within the team, and drive continuous improvement and innovation. Participate in workshops, webinars, and events to evangelize AWS solutions for startups and contribute to the growth of the AWS startup ecosystem. Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
Experience working in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, fintech, or web3.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
