Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician/ Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our dental instruments and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
*Tuesday 7:00-3:30* Sterilization
*Thursday 11;30-7:30 * DA
Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
- Clean, disinfect treatment rooms in between patient
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of disease
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician required
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques required
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is an asset
