As a Stockroom Helper, you will be an essential part of the store team, focusing on the efficient processing and movement of merchandise. You will work behind the scenes to ensure that products are received, sorted, and prepared for the sales floor. This role is crucial for maintaining a well-stocked and organized store, ultimately helping to provide a great shopping experience for our customers. You will be expected to perform various tasks related to inventory management and will be a key player in supporting the operational goals of the store.

• Proficient in using store equipment, including PDTs and rolling racks, as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the stockroom and store for extended periods.
• Regularly capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable using janitorial equipment and ladders as part of daily duties.
• Certain assignments may require additional qualifications and skills.
Responsibilities:
• Unload and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
• Organize and maintain a clean and safe stockroom environment.
• Tag, sort, and prepare merchandise for placement on the sales floor.
• Replenish sales floor with new products from the stockroom in a timely manner.
• Assist in managing backstock inventory and conducting periodic counts.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain clear walkways and access to emergency exits within the stockroom.
• Immediately report any unsafe conditions or practices to store leadership.
• Assist in the proper processing of Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) merchandise.
• Support the store team with general operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow the company's dress code.
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions with team members.
